Personal Training

Both general and powerlifting-specific training programs are offered, designed by Chris and the knowledge he has gained from 13 years worth of personal training.

General programming is best suited for those looking to stay in shape, build all-around strength, and get leaner.

Powerlifting 101 is powerlifting programming, which is best suited for those looking to get stronger and push themselves by focusing on the main power lifts (squat, bench press, and deadlift). This option is designed for those who don’t necessarily have the intention of competing, or for those who have never powerlifted before and are looking for a comprehensive training program.

Bergen County Barbell Club and Open Gym

The Barbell Club is a training group of competitive powerlifters. All levels of lifters are welcomed, both raw and equipped. The Barbell Club is unique in that it allows you to train in a safe and supportive environment all the while getting feedback from Chris and other fellow lifters.

Open gym allows open access to the facility for those wanting to train on their own, while still experiencing a supportive powerlifting environment. During open gym, you can rest assured that there will always be a fellow lifter around for a quick spot, back slap, or whatever else you may need!

Online/Distance Coaching

A variety of online coaching options are available depending on your needs:

  • Train with Chris: Chris will send you his exact workout. You will have access to a group chat with a community of other lifters who are also training with Chris. Here, everyone is able to send videos of their lifts and receive group feedback, ask questions, and get support from fellow, like-minded lifters. Train with Chris does not include feedback or check-ins from Chris.

  • Technique Assessment: Technique assessments allow you to send your training videos to Chris and receive a personalized breakdown of your technique, weak points, and cues for you to take away and apply to your training. No programming is included.

  • In-Season / Meet Prep Programming: This training option is geared towards your personal competitive goals. A weekly check-in is included.

  • 360° Programming: This is Chris’ all-inclusive distance training option. You will receive personalized programming year-round, whether you are in the off-season or getting ready to compete. You will also attack your weaknesses with regular access to technique and form assessments from Chris with prompt response time, as well as weekly check-ins. Limited spots are available.

  • 360° Elite: Get everything included in the 360° Programming, but with a more immediate response time from Chris, and the ability to get feedback or jumps in weight/attempts mid-workout. Limited spots are available.
